A very quiet day on the river wye. 2 chub were caught between us, 1 caught on a feeder and the other whilst trotting. Although the conditions seemed perfect, the barbel were no where to be seen!

Fantastic with the river finally with water. The barbel weren't quite ready to feed properly with only 4 caught up to 8.15. Hoards of chub in the slacks with two 5lb fish caught. River still rising and cold rain going in. Whoever catches it on the fall in the next 2-3 days will have a barbel bonanza I'm sure.
