1x trout of around 12", 1 around 8"

A shame some folk (hopefully not fishermen) mistake the parking space for a rubbish tip. Otherwise a beautiful stretch of water.

Did not fish due to getting very wet the day before.

A good way to end the river season! Arrived to be greeted by sleet, by the sun soon came out and it was very pleasant.
Feeder with maggot, or GB with meat on the hook. This is a great beat throughout the season.
One barbel of 6lb 4oz as the light faded, and seven chub to 5lb 3oz.

Three trout between 10 and 14", which all came in about a one hour window in the early afternoon, while some mayflies were hatching. All returned as usual. Thought the mayflies were march browns at first but in fact LDOs I think - fish refused march brown dry/emerger patterns, but I then got all my takes on an Imperial. River totally dead either side of the hatch though. the fish only turned on when a hatch was underway. Lovely to be out on the river again and catching on dries - thanks again!

Nice conditions today again, was quiet throughout the day, only 1 barbel, but it kicked off from sunset with 5 barbels landed up to 9lbs

Feeder fishing with GB pellet and maggot. Had 4 chub with the biggest at 5lb

No luck today, great stretch of river with lots of pools

A hard day at the office, no bits or fish on the feeder, one chub and two dace on the stick float, that's it until the start of the new season.
