5 Barbel, 19 Chub

The River had great colour although wasn't as high as I had hoped; I guess the recent rain wasn't in the mountains. It was a challenge to find the Barbel but eventually found 5. Three at 6lb+ the others around 4lb. All the Chub were around the 3lb mark.

5 Barbel, 9 Chub

Fairly quiet on a low river. Fished a dry fly for a few hours in the morning. Size 16 Adams took the fish.
All small.

4 Trout

Fished the Rock Pool and the Low water catches for a few hours in the afternoon. River clearing for the fly but nothing caught or seen.

river in good condition. beautiful fish all. chub to 4lb. barbel to 7lb.

7 Barbel, 37 Chub

All fish healthy (and real scrappers) - and all safely returned.

16 Trout

Overcast. Nothing rising. Fished wet, and wetter still when it began to tip down. Nary a nibble. Nil return.

Slow day but two good fish lost. Only 2 fishable swims on the upper stretch. Both of these were overgrown and difficult to get down to especially as it was wet.
