Stunning remote location! No fish to be seen or caught ! Too hot . Will go again either earlier or later in season.

First time on this picturesque stretch. I noted that a recent feedback on this beat noted campers in the lower field. Not there this time but evidence was there both in the field and on the river bank. Discarded cans, bottles, pans, bbq residue etc etc. I feel sorry for the farmer and I cannot understand how people sampling the nature can leave the place in such a mess. Rant over.
The water level was good, no neck high nettles as has been my recent experience elsewhere, real mountain stream fishing.
Even space here and there to do an overhead cast! No rising fish but two nice trout on a nymph - both live to bite another day. Only spent 3 hours and I will be back to try the full length of the beat. Lovely spot.

A lovely stretch in a beautiful location and quite fast flowing in places with some nice pools. I only fished for an hour and a half and was rewarded by a nice little Brown trout with hairs ear fly. Be aware there is no mobile reception for some miles so If like me you fail to download the directions it is a bit of a drive to be able to get them. I will return as there was a lot of unfished beat.

Beautiful beat with lovely riffles and pools and cuckoos calling in the background. Fished for a few hours. Rose several on dry olives and landed a couple. Very little rising which was a surprise.

No fish seen. Cold, blustery, rain showers.

River slightly coloured from recent rains. Not enough to put the fish off, a dozen or so from 7 to 11 inches with a great fish of 14 inches to end the late afternoon/early evening session. Several other lost and bumped. All fish took a nymph fished 'duo' style.
