Lovely Beat, very low water and euro nymphing proved to be hard work, so switched to a Elk Caddis and started getting regular takes, only managed one to the hand but great fun!

Only fishing a quarter of the beat as I fell in and cut my leg on the rocks but did see a few fish swimming and it looks like kids have been having a fire by the river and a bbq because there was pans in the field and coke cans by the river and a glow stick in a tree, but it did look a really good beat to fish

River freshened just a little by recent rain. One small trout on nymph (beaded GRHE) & one on dry (sedge) where only rising fish spotted. Pleasant location ignoring occasional campers' & agricultural waste.

Finally a little bit of rain and a overcast morning, and plenty of fish willing to go for a big dry - sedge or klink. Or anything else probably. Perfect wild stream stuff.
