Very slow , no fish caught

River was up and fast flowing.

River was up and coloured perfect really and caught all fish on meat ledgering

Originally booked with some late summer trotting in mind but the weather had other ideas with a near 1 metre rise in levels in two days leaving the croy at the upstream end under water. Ledger tactics with feeder and boilie accounted for all but one of the 11 barbel and the chub, unusually for this stretch, just weren't interested.

River was high and rising. Weather was sun and clouds, no rain that day.

Fly fishing 10.00 - 14.00. Dull, light rain, light northerly breeze. No fish rising. Not a single touch. Picked the wrong day!

River conditions looked perfect chocolate colour and slowly rising (2ft in 6hrs) but results were disappointing. Fished the furthest upstream peg and was pleased to find a backwater
eddy on the near bank, I fished the crease just beyond the eddy 3 rods out. Fished feeder and lead with pellet, boillie and garlic meat and the smelly meat proved best. Very heavy rain and called it a day after 6 hrs.
