We had a fantastic 6 hrs fishing on this beat, some really great pools holding plenty of trout. I managed 9 and lost several others, my uncle also had several takes. Best flies of the day were pink tag nymph and small sedge dry.

Two brownies of around one pound and two of half a pound caught on Rhosrhyd. One brownie of about two and a half pounds caught on Glandwgan. All five fish returned.

2 fish caught but not landed. River conditions low, weather sunny and windy

Very quiet with few rises. Fish easily spooked and no luck with nymphs in faster water. Very picturesque.

Common Carp around 6lb , lost 2 at the bank

1 x brown trout 11'', 1 x brown trout 15''. Both caught on size 16 Tups Indispensable. Very nice beat, had to leave as the best of the evening rise was getting underway.
