Perfect conditions but no fish showing

No fish caught or even seen today, it was a lovely little beat, with clear water but was told by 2 different people that there was no fish in this part of the river

Camper Van (Fishing) Life - I was unable to fish this ticket, but am glad I paid for it to the club/beat, and hope to visit them in the future.

A bright day, but most of the river is in the shade. A lot of glare even with polaroid glasses. Fished from 11-5. Gin clear, good flow but quite low - we haven't really had any rain for a few weeks now. Fished the beat upstream from this one a few weeks ago and caught big fish, so I was a little surprised that all of fish this time were quite small. The biggest was about 12".

Dropped in on this beat for a quick run through after fishing Lower Henllan further up. Some great fish caught, several exceeding 1lb.

Lovely morning's fishing on a beautiful river. 0.50m was showing on the gauge higher up the river, after fairly heavy rain, which made things challenging and I was happy to have gotten a take, sadly didn't land it. Using a 10ft rod made things interesting as well, but the length is actually quite useful. You can normally present a fly, you just have to think about how you're going to do it. There is a lot of tree cover, but I quite like that, really makes you feel like your hidden from the world.
