1.1km of double bank and 400m of single bank of classic middle Usk fishing just upstream from the bridge in Crickhowell. The beat is comprised of 3 main pools, each with a turbulent head running under trees before smoothing into delicious long glides. Perfect for Usk trout fishing. The 3 pools are all worth a cast for a salmon, even in lowish water, so this beat is perfect for a day spent salmon fishing when the trout aren’t rising and trout fishing when they are.

- National bye-laws must be observed and it is up to anglers to familiarise themselves with these.
- Flyfishing and spinning (when byelaws allow) for salmon only. No bait fishing.
- 2 trout can be taken per rod. Anything under 9" must be returned (byelaw)
- Catch & Release for salmon at all times
- Barbless hooks only
- Dogs allowed but must be kept under control at all times
