Glanwye: Started fishing today with the easing of CV restrictions and straight away off the mark with a 15lb hen fish on a cascade cone head and a 5lb fresh grilse on a small tube for Alistair Thompson. Another fish was lost.

Water temperatures have now dropped to safe levels for salmon angling for the whole length of the river.
