The Rocks: Richard Thomas had a 9 lb hen fish on Monday afternoon. He was then lucky enough to land another yesterday, a 12 lb cock fish, before losing another fish shortly after.

Dolgau: Steve Jones had a 10 lb fish this morning

Upper Coldbrook (Usk): Mike Bolt had a coloured 13 lb hen fish on Saturday, on an Orange Allies Shrimp.

Brecon Town water (Usk) : Richard Rudge had a 9lb hen salmon on Saturday, on a double Allies shrimp ( size 12).

River Usk: Reports of more fish being caught from Brecon to Usk Town in the past few days, including some sea liced.

Swan Meadow (Usk): 2 fish reported, one from Wednesday and one Thursday. 12lb & 15lb spinning. Both released.

Swan Meadow (Usk): 15 lb cock fish today in very trying conditions, as well as a late report of a 13 lb fish from the 10th Sept caught spinning. Swan Meadow still has some availability for the last couple of weeks of the season.

Nyth and Tyrcellyn: James Fox caught a 15 lb cock fish on  a fly of his tying with  a 16 double Black with red flash in Cafn Stream at 11 am and  14 lb hen fish fly as above at 5 30 in Cafn. Alfred Pope caught 17 lb fish at tail of Turn Pool at Tyr Celyn on a 3/4 inch cone head mainly yellow Cock fish with kype not a fighter!`
