Llanover (Usk) : 12lb hen caught on Friday 22nd on Tyr Afon for Brett Fleming-Jones. Caught on size 12 cascade fly.

Llangoed & Lower Llanstephen : A 10-11lb Cock Salmon for Alan Ward yesterday. Taken on a Phatagova fly.

Wyesham : 9.5lbs salmon this morning.

Wyesham: Resumed fishing today and caught a 6lb grilse.

After a temporary suspension due to high water temperatures. FISHING FOR ALL SPECIES HAS RESUMED on the beats below Builth Wells on the Wye and Brecon on the Usk. 

Care with handling should still be exercised with any fish caught.

After a temporary suspension due to rising water temperature, trout (and pike) fishing on the beats below Builth Wells on the Wye has resumed.

Salmon fishing remains suspended for now.  Salmon and trout fishing on the beats below Brecon on the Usk, including the town water remains suspended.

Please note that due to rising water temperatures, [b]salmon, trout and pike fishing[/b] has been suspended on Wye & Usk Passport participating beats, below Builth Wells & Brecon until further notice. This suspension will be reviewed daily but we ask that no booking of this type is made until further notice. Trout (and grayling) fishing remains open above Builth Wells & Brecon. Should water temperatures rise much further, we will need to consider suspensions here too. In the meantime, it is especially important that anglers follow good catch & release techniques to ensure fish survival.
