Late afternoon evening session Barbel 7lb chub from 3lb 8oz up to 4lb 6oz the other was a perch of 1lb 9oz feeder fished luncheon meat was the method.

Rains came today after hot spell to offer some relief however fishing still slow with such low water.

Surprised to catch in sunny hot conditions looked for the deeper water. Stunning location.

Fished from 5pm until 8-30pm due to hot weather 1 chub of about 3lb and a 9lb 6oz barbel luncheon meat and ground bait feeder.

No fish caught.Never seen the river this low and without any weed

Terrible today, hardly a sign of any fish in the river. Not a place to come if you want peace and solitude, all the accessible swims are straight across from the weir gardens on the opposite bank so you’re fishing to an audience. Unfortunately we put on a poor show for them today though

A hard days fishing river very low but that is to be expected with the lack of rain,started by trotting with hemp and sweet corn only two small chub of about a pound changed to ground bait feeder and luncheon meat and had 3 further chub biggest 5lb 2oz I am here for a weeks holiday so it looks as if it will be a long week unless we get rain.The other was an eel of about 2lb.
