There was no salmon caught just one pluck in the upper beat on a Cascade but it might have been a larger trout (five other trout landed all returned). Very nice beat but difficult acces in a large SUV. The Foundation provided all necessary details and your services, most important the fact that even from abroad such a nice beat can be reservated at little cost are to be recommended. Two little points, I like the beat to be controlled as it is the case in most countries. The second point, at 9pm on the opposite site of the river, not replying any greeting, a local boy with cowboy hat, spinning gear and net at hand was screening the bank of rhe river and was clearly annoyed we were still there. This sad fact is also universal on all but the best controlled beats .

No salmon caught or seen. Water a nice height for fly fishing, but the clarity was poor, 3 feet by the evening just. Thunder storms kept washing in debis. Would be nice as previous anglers have said if a strimmer could be used on the paths especially to the top pools. Also with such a nice beat why is there no pool names on the map and no information on salmon cathes or lies?

Fished evening session after much of the day spent at Dinas which was getting a bit low. One other rod fishing all day. Interesting beat, quite overgrown in places and take care on the concrete walk ways. Fished much of the beat and then the prefered bits again in what looked like perfect conditions, sadly did not see any sign of Salar, although the other day rod lost a fish in the morning. Many thanks to all for arranging a great day's fishing in Wales.
