Bright sunshine and river running at 1.24mt, 4oz feeds not holding middle run or creases, made for difficult day. Switched on at dusk, one 10lb Barbel. Beautiful scenery and wildlife but very slippery pegs. Care required.

Lovely stretch of river, fining down quickly, dropped about a metre in the 2 days we were there but managed 5 chub and 2 barbel

Ledgered 14mm krill pellets with ground bait. 91b, 10oz. I was very happy!

Fished the upper end and there were four decent pegs to fish with the river still quite pacey. Pellets definitely the most productive bait. Best barbel was 8lb 3oz. Chub to 3lb 8oz.

I fished a swim I normally do very well in but the fish were not biting today, just one barbel around 7 lbs.

Nice day on the river, fining down through the day. Barbel to 8.12 and chub to 5.6 on meat and dumbell boilies. First time fishing this beat, would book again, nice variety of swims to fish.
