Great morning on the river. 4 fish all in the last half hour. River is in beautiful shape but expected more activity given the conditions were (near) ideal for this time of year. Great job by the river keeper. Favourite river out of the three I fished on this trip. Will definitely return here.

Very hard fishing. Tried spicy sausage , halibut and cheesy garlic wafters, pellets and boilies different sizes too ,plus bread for chub and meat for barbel. One maybe 2 bites all day fished from 9 till 6:30 (dark) river was low and no colour so that might have had something to do with it. Very slippy when wet beat so be careful. Few snags on the far right peg in the middle part of the river.

Whist the weather was good, I used meat and a light ledger tactic dropping in many of the available swims during the morning and caught 4 chub. As forecast, the weather in the afternoon changed to wind & rain, so decided to go with a feeder and boilie rig from under the protection of my brolly - Caught 1 barbel.

Usually a prolific stretch for us but an influx of cold water made it challenging. All fish caught other side of woods in pellet tactics
