Fished upstream from the car park, one barbel 9lb 1oz on meat.
Only fished for 4 hours mid morning to mid afternoon.

1 Barbel

8 chub between 10oz and 1.5lbs.
Baits include maggot and pellet along with cage feeder with a hallibut ground bait and pellets of various sizes.
River had a reasonable flow, felt the conditions should have produced more bites throughout the day.
Most Pegs were boggy and hard to access .

Lovely days fishing on a beautiful beat. roving approach produced two barbel and sixteen chub

I only fished my mate couldn’t make it.was tough again with lots of lost tackle however not a bad result????

2 anglers fished - Fairly tough day, 2 barbel in the last 20 mins as the light dropped. Pockets of fish found in specific swims, several other swims tried didn’t produce bites. Chub of mixed size from 1 to 4lb, barbel 3 to 7lb, Mostly on pellet. 2 lost barbel during the session as well. River still at a nice level but water clear.
