What a great day we had! I love this beat and Shaun and Helen are so welcoming and helpful, I couldn't recommend it enough.

The water was a good height and clear, the day started a bit slower as we were fishing nymphs with a couple of fish caught but towards the mid-late afternoon we had some great sport on the dries. A 17" Out of Season Grayling was a pleasant surprise to have on the dry, it was quickly released.. The trout were all also of decent size ranging between 8 and 12 inches and not too picky, we had them on a number of dry fly variations between small CDCs, parachutes and general mayfly patterns.

Lovely to be back at Craig Llyn. Cloudy with some heavy showers, and rather unexpectedly cold given it is June.
River was a good level. First outing with my own self-tied flies.... always a big moment in a fisherrman's life!
All caught on nymphs

Brighter day, river running well, but fishing was harder. Few takes and a couple of WBTs on wet flies. Safely released back.

Good conditions: cloudy and gentle breeze; river running well. Two of us had about 6 WBT each and a few more not landed.
Fishing a combination of wet, dry and nymphs in the day.
