The river looked in a perfect fishing state as to did the climate - cloudy, warm but not too warm and with no wind. All fish came to feeder tactics throughout the day and all at the top end of the beat. A beautiful setting amongst the wildlife

Heavy rain throughout the day, swimfeeder for Barbel and Chub. No bites
Vehicle got stuck on access track.

A good days fishing as usual on this beat.

Well this turned out to be my best ever session on the Wye over the last 5 years. Pretty much non stop all day particularly in the first two hours. All fish to pellet and hemp in the feeder and paste wrapped boilies as hookbait with a few of the chub on floatfished meat. Some real clonking Chub up to 5lb and Barbel up to 9lb. River low and clear but found the fish in the deeper sections.

PVA mesh and ledger. Not so many bites today but best chub about 4LB. Very enjoyable day again. Started at 9 am and left at 4pm
