First time here since first week of season. For reference the track is now better than some welsh main roads!!

Late start got to the river about 11 still overcast 8 chub from around a pound upto approx 5lb. Cloud cover turned to bright sunshine which killed the fishing even fliat fishing the shallower areas. Lucky to live nearby so went home for food and returned around 7pm to one of the first swims before waterworks on Adam Fisher recommendation lovely Barbel - must be over 10lb and another chub around 4lb before dusk.

Did not fish.On arrival there was a sign on the gate that said access by 4x4 vehicles only, ( contrary to the advice given in the video) from the parking point by the top gate it is a very long walk to the nearest accessible swims.

Fishing Passport Note : There is a pop up notice altering anglers to information on the track and the need for a 4x4 prior to booking. Apologies if you missed this.

Beautiful afternoon/evening session. Very conflicting information on access. Firstly ,on website, being made aware of track having undergone repairs and maintenance decided to give it amiss, then watched YouTube video of access problems being belittled by owner decided to give it a go. ????? Which is it….. well work carried out very poorly and haphazard, putting MOT1 down, without compacting is bordering on useless and pointless, purely superficial… must have had the gypsy boys in????…so Unless you are Dean Macey and fancy or capable of walking 1/2 mile ,down and up country terrain laden with tackle etc or have a Porsche Cayenne ???? think again … DO NOT GO DOWN TRACK!!!Apart from those issues ,stunning beat, great fishing plenty of carnival like processions, just fish on the inside and smile and wave at fellow water lovers, especially the pretty ones, and enjoy the day!!

Fishing Passport Note : There is a pop up notice altering anglers to information on the damage to the track prior to booking. This would have been shown to you during the booking process.

Great stretch but need to fish early or late due to very heavy canoe traffic. I fished from 6 till 11 then gave up. Track down now impossible unless you have a good 4x4. When arrived met 2 lads that had been stuck there overnight . The loose stone needs compacting down
