Lovely days fishing started a bit of a struggle at first but soon got going 7 chub one small and the rest were lovely fish around 4lb plus all on various baits,and two lovely barbel biggest around the 8lb mark didn’t bother weighing just a rest and release.weed seems to have cleared and water was up.All on ground bait and feeder.

River up and dropping nicely and well coloured ..fished pellet feeder in 3 swims and caught barbel in all of them..lovely day on this beautiful stretch .

Great day with 5 barbel and two eels unfortunately although one was a couple of pounds, lots of action good fun. Absolutely superb location, only two paddle boards and one canoeist.

2 chub caught on feeder fished groundbait and pellet and small chub caught on float fished maggot. Very quiet fishing but a beautiful location. Powerful current and tricky holding bottom and lots of large snags.

Fishing was very slow. Seems to deteriorate each year.
Lots of silkweed coming down the river and catching on the line. In over 20 years of fishing the Wye I have never seen silkweed like that. Can only put it down to the dry summer combined with pollution.
The Wye is a shadow of what it used to be.

River low, intermittent showers. We all fished with halibut paste and swim feeders from 9.00-18.00 but hardly even had a knock. Lots of silkweed.

Excellent day despite the blanketweed. Caught steadily throughout the day on feeder red robin, cheesy garlic pellets and krill luncheon meat.

Fished for 5 hours and had lots of fun. Barbel up to 9lb , chub up to 5lb and a 2lb eel . Lost 6 other large fish , possibly barbel . Lovely fishery with spectacular scenery, can't wait to return.
