Well Fownhope 5 didn’t disappoint again. Close on 250lb of chub between the 2 of us on feeder tactics but sadly only 7 barbel to around 7 pound. All caught firstly from the far field other side of woods then a move to the rocks around midday saw so many more chub and the few barbel grace our nets.

One of those red letter days on the Wye floatfished meat and fed pellet 35 chub ranging from 2lb up to 5 lb 2oz then 7 on the ground bait feeder with paste wrapped boilie largest 4lb 6oz,no sign of any barbel the two other were eels but a first for me catching one on the float.

4 Rods - had to share swims. Not great for 4 rods. The wood was blocked off with overgrown swims. Long walk but picturesque. Nice chub though 2lb to 5lb
