Although the river was running with an extra 2 meters of water it was still possible to fish. All the fish were caught from the early swims. I didn't fancy the long walk through the woods.

Great day on this stretch again. All fish caught in bottom field to a combination of hair rigged 8mm pellet on 14 hooks with 4mm pellet in feeder and straight lead with meat. Chub to 5lb and barbel to 8lb.

The woods area was closed to fishing so we split between the upstream stretch of the salmon hut,and downstream of the woods. Water level very lowbut we located a shoal of chub which produced the 2 barbel as dusk fell. Very enjoyable session .. thanks W & u.

Report for RF. water level low, and started slowly with all 5 fish coming after 17:00. 7.5 lb pike seized bait as it was being retrieved.
