With low levels it was hard to sustain fish feeding. Still, a great section. Very peaceful.

Overall a very nice day on the bank, other than a couple of short sharp showers weather was warm if not a little breezy. Water levels very low and action slow over the day. Picked up a few early chub on cage feeder and then went for a wade to the island. Nothing doing from either end so returned to the Step and quickly was in to a lovely barbal, made my day as was first Wye barbal for me. Love the spot!

Could not fish due to extremely low water and lack of swims with enough water to be able to fish

Campers in the last field made the beat crowded as a few of them had rods out fishing.
