Fist time on this beat. Lovely scenery. River was up a bit following the recent rain. Chub were biting all day (should have caught more), but the barbel were taken in the evening.

Caught on swim past second gate opposite willow 2/3rds of the the way across the river on 8mm noosed halibut pellet with hemp / halibut ground bait in feeder. Best barbel 7.5 lbs best chub 4.5 lbs. Thanks to the legendary gent who suggested I try it!
