Lovely stretch, had nothing out all day but very well kept and was welcomed by club member/land owner. Great pub to stop off at to finish the day, stunning scenery. The wye never disappoints for looks

A great days sport. River and weather conditions perfect. 15 chub caught on rolling meat float fished pellet and feeder fished boilie, from chublet to 4lb 5oz. A barbel would have been 'The icing on the cake'. Thanks to Terry and all at the Trust. Fished beats 3 and 4. The gate was unlocked when we arrived and couldn't be locked when we left. Will be back soon.

Looked perfect, overcast and a good level. After this year's floods the fish were not in their usual haunts.
1 chub landed, 1 lost and a first for me ever here ~no barbel.
Had a fabulous chat with a trout angler returning to the place for the first time in fifty years where it a started for him.

1 Chub
