Evening session only so didn't have much time to explore.
No fish caught.

Good day on a lovely stretch 6 chub around the 1lb mark 2 caught on rolling meat and the other four on double hair rig 8mm pellet unfortunately they switched off when the sun came overhead very little action after 11 o’clock

Very very hot and bright day made fishing tough. Most pegs on this stretch are hard to access with very steep banks and limited river access once down. We fished the gravel beach section on the lower part of the beat. Managed to winkle out 2 barbel and 6 chub between us, with one blanking and another only getting a small chub all day. Fish were hard to come by. We would appreciate more pegs being better maintained for access on this stretch.

Water very low but chub were obliging in one of the more downstream swims. Access not great however, a fair few swims on a very steep bank. Grippy footwear and a bank stick a must!

Great beat, lovely day. Fished 0500-1300; no barbel.

8 Chub

Fished from lunchtime. Tough conditions during the afternoon but decent action in the evening with 4 barbel to 5.5lb and a few Chub all coming from the quicker paced downstream end. All caught on the feeder with fishmeal dumbbells and paste

River very low but the fish were there, just not taking baits. My fish on the float.

No fish caught from dawn till 11am. One of the better swims is now gone. Low water level with a little visibility.

7 barbel caught & 1 lost in a 3 hour feeding spell in the morning.
