Not a lot going on hatch wise. A few LDO's coming off about 12.30 pm and the odd fish rising but I was unable to tempt any.
The only fish taken was a brown about 1lb on a nymph.

No joy, I’m afraid. The conditions seemed pretty but no hatch observed and didn’t see any fish rising. Not interested in a variety of nymphs.

River clear but high and flowing quickly. When LDO's started hatching a few fish could be seen chasing and taking hatching nymphs near or at the surface but very few "rises" and all action was in the fastest water. The "ideal" dry fly water was covered in hatching nymphs but I did not see any taken. Back to the drawing board!!

River was higher than I expected and the cynrig Brook was very dirty flowing into the main river , very little in the way of fly life for the day did get one on the dry after a 10 min mini hatch . Picked up most of the fish on match brown and endrick spiders and a couple on a streamer all in all a good result on a quiet river .

Bright day, cool light wind. Nothing rising so nymphed and spidered with no joy. March Brown hatch @2.30pm for 45 mins ish when sporadic rises made life interesting but no connection - missed three or four takes. Sand Martins in abundance.

Heavy cloud, 10C maximum temperature, no wind. I was banking on the fact it had not rained in the previous 24 hrs but on arrival, the river running high and fast - but relatively clear. Webcam at Brecon at noon was showing the river at 1'10". Spent four hours working a weighted PTN around the eddies and the slacker water under the bank without any success. No sign of any fly life so left, defeated at 15:30.
