Bright and sunny until 2pm, when persistent rain settled in. Good surface activity, particularly late morning through to 2pm. A couple missed chances on MB, no fish landed on the dry. Managed three brownies on weighted HE.

Bright sunshine all day. Occasional flurries of March Browns and Olives hatching from around 11.00 through till 15.00. These brought fish to the surface in the fast water at the top of the beat. Lots of missed takes but 2 fish in superb condition of 1lb 8oz and 1lb 6 oz were landed on size 14 March Brown.
