Very nice river to fish. Used mainly french nymph tactics with peeping caddis on the point and florescent orange bead GRHE on the dropper. Most fish were caught in fast - ish cobbled bottom runs in water depths of 1-1.5m and at reach (not right under the rod tip). The best times to fish were first light up to around 0900 and then after 1500
All of the fish were under a pound and I had a lot of double hook ups

Hot bright sunny day, only saw a few fish rising all day. Both fish taken on PTN.

Very windy. Produced it own difficulty fish came on to a Adams/ PTN on the retrieve. Saw 2 mink (maybe same one?).

Arrived on beat mid-day - Difficult conditions and all small trout came to Gnant size 18.

Fished the bathers beat for a couple of hours around dusk. Plenty of small trout rising. 5 caught, mainly on a beaded nymph on the point. All returned. Never fished this beat before - absolutely stunning surroundings.
