Very high, fast water. Difficult going. 1 small grayling (returned).

1 Grayling

Some lovely fly water but no salmon landed.

First time on the Dee and loved it. Fished Bishops Run and had 4 x Browns on flashback nymph up to 2lbs. Overcast and a bit windy.

4 Trout

Gorgeous day with very little wind and plenty of sun. Fishing was consistant all day and was lucky to pick up a 3lb sea trout on a little nymph.

All fish returned.

5 Trout, 1 Sea Trout, 6 Grayling

Great day. Overcast and drizzling, but there were a few hatches going on all day. All the trout and grayling were small (palm length) except one grayling of 22 cm. Map should be updated, as it is unclear where to park ans exactly what lengths are fishable..l

4 Trout, 7 Grayling

4 brown trout caught, up to about a pound and a half ( I think from 'Tip Pool'). 3 returned, 1 kept. Water level looked quite low (keep in mind this was the first time I have fished here so no basis for comparison!). Spoke to a couple of locals on the water/ in the town - very friendly, welcoming and full of helpful tips! A great day's fishing in beautiful surroundings - I will definitely head back here in the hopefully not too distant future.
