Good day on a fantastic beat. Plenty of fish showing. Only 6 fish to the hand should have been more but they were too fast. Small black dryflys were the choice fished upstream. Will definitely be returning. MB.

Recent reports were right about this amazingly beautiful location - very low levels and no fish, although there were signs of insect life. Fished various wets and nymphs for a few hours over the middle of the day..

water very low and clear sunny day - very little fish activity visible and no takes - fished dry fly and spiders.

one small trout (5") on snipe and purple spider. Several rises, but water low and fish easily spooked

River was quite low, and there was quite a downstream wind. I fished dry fly for most of the time. The first fish was on a ducks dun, the second on a parachute adams

River very low and clear, just a few rises to the odd March Brown(?), and I'm afraid the fish outwitted me

River low and clear, cold easterly wind, hard fishing but managed 4 good fish between us on nymph and dry fly, also lost a few more

Difficult day no hatch of any size sporadic LDO coming off and caught one bt 9" and missed a dozen others! Water low and clear .

Sunny and hot and river at a very low level didn’t make things easy. A few fish rising but no hatch to speak of. All fish caught on nymphs using duo and French Leader. Wading is very slippery so take care even in shallow water.
