Very full and fast river. Made wading tricky as water had not cleared so visibility was poor. Not rises but caught two fish in the rapids. Two canoeists came past - they were politely told they should not be using the river until October.

Very happy and a great location. River was pretty low, only fished from 2 until 6pm, kids in the water at various points a few risers, had a couple that i lost.
Will return and do an evening stint.

Occasional rises during the day but not as much of a hatch as when we last fished a week or two back. At least 20people swimming, paddling or sunbathing near the corner but they left us alone so no problem our end. Fun. Both trout (returned) caught on dry fly (Taff’s emerged, pale spinner) fishing to rises

Fishing pheasant tail on the bottom. Beautiful beat but completely overrun by swimmers and bathers in high summer months..

Pleased to have got to fish at all given the weather report. Enjoyed the day very much. Odd rising trout too

Good conditions, path is in terrible condition as someone else mentioned. About one fish rising every hour with frequency picking up about 8.30pm to a lot more jumping. Best fishing spots were occupied until late by locals swimming which seems to be a regular thing based on other comments.

No interest at all on a variety of dry flies I tried including gnats and olives.

Not suitable at all for bank fishers like me and you will need waders to get anywhere decent. Guidance on the website should be updated to reflect that. Was poor value for money and I wont return

Downstream breeze made conditions challenging. We had 2 trout on the nymph. Pleasant day only slightly marred by some tourists swimming in the river.

The river is looking good, although low, and conditions at around 7pm were perfect however, nothing rising apart from two very small trout. The path is atrocious and is very hard going, I still ache. I have decided not to fish here for a long time after yesterday's experience.

River up slightly after yesterday’s rain, carrying a bit of colour and pushing through quite hard so I wasn’t comfortable wading, it was also very cold. Gave it a quick go from the bank where I could but gave up and came home after a walk up the beat. No fish seen or caught.
