Lovely warm muggy day with a moderate down stream wind , just fished single dry mainly it’s all you needed .
Lots of stone fly some olives saw two Danica mayflies , couldn’t believe that…..wonderful days fishing . Wild Trout Paradise……

Fished Cronkley Bridge area. Bit windy which made casting awkward however the fish were looking up. Balloon caddis caught well with spiders when the fish switched off from the dries.

What a difference a little water in the river makes. Top day with easily over 50 trout on dries between us. We had 6 trout around the pound mark and my fishing partner Scott had a cracker at 1 3/4 pound. This fish had broken him off only 10 minutes prior to him hooking it again and he was able to retrieve his jingler
from first time round.
