We started off under the tree and sat watching 2 x tips not moving for 2 hours. after moving to the 2nd swim had a better result. Caught steadily, but slow throughout the day, with 3 Barbel between 3 & 6 lbs and 7 chub, with a couple around the 5lb mark, luncheon meat, krill pellets, source boilies and pellets, all caught, it was a day of changing baits that kept the day active.

With the river being low and gin clear this made for tricky conditions, but the chub were obliging, and backed up with some cracking dace on the stick float..
