A very enjoyable day. Not easy due to blustery wind and river dropping. Chub caught trotting bread flake or meat on the bottom. Barbel all caught on meat. Well worth the 2 hr drive from Buckingham.

Another lovely day on this well kept beat the fishing was a bit slow which I put down to the very warn sunny and humid conditions. I was also fortunate enough to meet the keeper who is a very nice man with a great knowledge and passion for this wonderful river. Thanks once again W.U.F

2 Barbel, 8 Chub

Fished from mid day to 7 pm at bottom of beat by the Lugg. Started immediate with 2 small barbel, 1 to pellet, 1 on meat. Then went off for a while but soon we had the chub. 2 on meat and 3 on pellet. AB then caught regular 5 small chublets on pellet nothing bigger than 6 ounces.
Met with Glyn who was very helpful. A well kept fishery with relative easy access even for us old'uns. The river wasn't performing today.............

Great days fishing, all Chubb on meat and feeder, fantastic balliff very very helpful, beautiful spot with easy access, very well kept part of the Wye again a credit to balliff, will be back

2 barbel and 2 chub. Very much enjoyed the fishing feeder and pellets was the effective method.

A challenging day, arrived at first light to find the river rising very slowly. But then began to fall around late morning. Caught the majority of the fish in the faster water. The river then began to rise again which added a foot of extra water from 4.30 to 7 when we decided to call it a day.

Arrived 8 o/c walked the river set up upper sally,s fished for 30 mins then Glynn arrived he advised me to move to another swim put me on the Barbel instantly fish till 1 o/c had 6 barbs 2 chub should have had more well looked after beat thanks Glynn now the 190 mile drive home

First of 3 days on different beats, we had wanted to float fish the end swim but the river was still up, settled in the middle on the feeder until Glyn arrived and advised us to move further down, we ended with 3&2 Barbel to just under 7lb, river looked good and felt as if we should have done better.

Slow start but fish arrived latter in the day
Meet Glynn at lunch time confirmed we had selected the correct swims with the river 2/3 feet up coloured and rising. Most fish taken on ground bait feeder with pellets or favoured meat. Best fish 7lb. Good day Thanks to Glynn for his advice.
