River had a tint of colour. Very nice stretch with great access to all swims. Barbel caught early and late in the day with fish to 6lbs on the feeder and halibut pellet. Chub very obliging when we swapped to maggot feeder mid day whilst barbel had stopped feeding. Had fish to 5lbs and fighting fit.

The river was about 18 inches up and carrying a bit of colour so we had high hopes but after trying various swims only one produced around mid beat so one angler pleased and I blanked.......again!

1 Barbel, 4 Chub

River rose rapidly in the afternoon and covered the croys. Lots of weed coming down so abandoned search for barbel.

River in great condition after some rain but fishing was hard...only four chub despite fishing every swim on the beat.

1 Trout, 4 Chub

River very low and clear, weather showery and windy. Still able to drive to the water.
A slow day but found a few fish towards the lower end of the beat mid afternoon, best 6lb barbel and a 3.5lb chub. A pleasant day thank you.

Difficult day, rain but river very low, fished very hard and roamed the beat. Caught 4 chub and an eel between us. A few Salmon jumping.

River low and clear. Fished dawn till eleven then went for Siesta. Returned at three, baited and waited till five to fish. First chub was small, second chub 4lbs. Very little in the way of cover for barbel when water is low on this beat.

No fish caught - a couple of salmon seen. A lovely beat with some great fly fishing water. A few canoeists towards the middle of the day. It was a hot day and not ideal fishing conditions. The river was slightly dirty to start with but dropped and cleared as the they went on. A good day was had even though we didn't catch.
