River high and pushing through strongly, so made it challenging. Lost one and had a very big chub touch ledgering in the ‘slacker water’. Met Colin and Molly for a nice chat. Didn’t stay for the evening when the fish usually switch on but enjoyable day at a beautiful stretch of the wonderful Wye.

Didn't fish. river rose first thing and was chocolate brown and racing. went home!

A somewhat slow start but the chub came later !

Lovely stretch and the river was in good sorts. Pellet feeder was the method of the day and some really comfortable swims.

as usual the barbel were a bit scarce but the chub kept us busy. nothing on pellet feeder, so corn, maggots and other baits prevailed. still a good days fishing.

Still had to use 6 oz feeders to hold bottom
