Water level a bit too high but was worth a go. Stuck to fc and just fished the crib area by the hut. Nothing caught or seen except one follow from a largish pike.

Beautiful beat, good access but not sure it’s worth the bank fee. Fished til dusk and had some good sized chub but barbel still elusive in low water conditions. Best swims seem to be downstream of bridge

Fairly low river, overcast to start, but the sun came out for the afternoon. Mainly float fished. Worked hard, but couldn't get them going consistently.
Lovely spot, very peaceful day.

Lovely beat tbh... I had really nice barbel at the end of the day which makes it all worth it. Fished all the beat but end of the beat was most productive. Barbel was around 7lb and caught really big chub but jump the net when getting the scales.
Should have caught more but just couldnt find the barbel. Good day and would come back.

Challenging conditions as the river rose dramatically and was running through fast with high amounts of debris - fished in the slacks - Chub were decent stamp - 2 - 4lb / Barbel 7.5lb

Fished at the bottom end of the beat in the fast water, the river was up since our last visit with some colour. A lot of weed was catching on the bait, nevertheless, had a good day all caught on feeder with marine halibut and red robin pellet.
