Really struggled on what is normally a good stretch for me, tried all areas with all methods but couldn't find any feeding barbel, rewarded at around 9pm by a fish I catch regularly there (distinctive by the tumour on its tail)

Water levels up, good oxygen in the water as well. All fish court on the lower section

Low river, slow fishing until evening

Got caught in the rain storms. Fished for half a day before we were effectively washed out as the conditions became very slippy. 3 falls were enough for us to call it a day! Did winkle out a nice barbel before the rains. Caught on lead and pellet bag method.

We struggled today, couldn’t find the barbel, although we didn’t fish into the evening. 6 Chub to 1 rod caught in both the slow and faster water swims.

Fished 12:00- 7:30 river very low, bright conditions. 1 small club on the float and one 5lb barbel last cast on pellet.
