Wonderful day on the river. I went more for therepeutic reasons than to actually catch fish, so was delighted to net 3 wbt and 3 grayling- my first! All caught on the dry- a green bodied parachute-y thing that i have no idea what it's name is! Love this beat, will def return.

River very low and clear. Very hot, no bits!

2 Trout, 2 Chub

River was low in many places but there are still some good pools further down this beat. Not many fish showing and my only take was on a small black gold head. Lovely stretch

All fish taken on Black ptn under klinkhammer. Water a little low and very clear, so many fish spooked first cast. Lovely beat, access a little tricky in a couple of spots, steep banks and some undergrowth, but nothing insurmountable, all in all a pleasant evening session.

3 Trout, 1 Chub

River very low and warm. Some sporadic rises and fish spotted. Rose a few but didn't connect. Due to circumstances we fished the wrong time of day. Lovely beat though, would be interested to try again. Obligatory Kingfisher was a joy!

A lovely morning in an outstanding natural environment. We both failed to catch anything although there were plenty of fish rising and we saw many trout from the bank. Lunch at The Bell was a grand way to round off an enjoyable morning.

First evening ticket- only 30 minutes away so worth a go ; Hoping for an evening rise but the rain came in so i wimped out after 2 hours. Would like to work out if it's possible to start at the down stream end of the beat and how you would manage when the water is deeper. Saw a couple of rises under overhanging trees. Murky water.
