Lovely beat, good access, pump on briefly but didn't cause us any issues. Rang office about closed road to farm and the matter was dealt with quickly and professionally. Watched the buzzards and saw plenty of salmon jumping which was a pleasure. River very low and clear despite 3 nights of rain. All fish taken at dusk on pellet/boilies. Far bank was fairly busy with anglers. We will return.

River conditions as sunday, but a bit more cloud. 1 angler fished trotted maggot all day from the concrete path to the right of the pump. Hooked 4 small barbel and landed 2 plus many small dace. Another fished concrete pier (croy?) to the left of the pump with pellet feeder for 1 chub, 4lb.
The 2 others fished the shingle beach further downstream on pellet/meat feeder for 4 barbel up to 3lb 8oz. Canoeists, courteous in the main!!! A very enjoyable day.

Water very low and clear, upstream from the entry point mostly unfishable as the accessible bank was at least 10ft above the water level. Fished the stone beach, nothing to feeder tactics but trotting maggot produced many small dace and chub plus one small barbel about 2lb. This fishery would obviously be much better with higher water levels.

River conditions low and morning bright sunshine. Baited various swims close to our bank with hemp and pellet and moved around without locating any fish. Fished late afternoon until dark with feeders in the deepest water we could find but did not have a bite all day. There were at least 6 anglers on the opposite bank and we only saw 1 barbel caught and one lost.
