Rainy start but river clear, and powerful requiring cautious wading. Fish all came to dark knight point and godolphin (pink bits) on dropper, in the slacker margins, thankfully. Fish to 15”. Another cracking day thank you Mr W.

Beautiful sunny day. River rushing past. I pretty much failed to find any water where I could sensibly present a nymph and when I did, any fish which might've been there sensibly ignored me. Lovely beat though. I'll try to come back when conditions are a little easier.

River too high really but looked so fishey I had to give it a go. Heavy nymph's in the gravel catch worked. Out again tomorrow. It will be a bit lower and clearer. Stunning views and Autumn colors

Sadly no fish caught today, despite this I had a great day. The fishing hut came in most useful when the rain came. Thanks WUF.

Quite a tough day with a little chill courtesy of the south easterly wind. We managed a few grayling on nymphs including some out of season trout. Best grayling was about a pound.

A patchy but sustained rise late afternoon had grayling rising to midges and what looked like caenis. Size 18 and 20 dry flies brought a few to hand.
