A fish on and off in the Heirag pool water a bit brown .

One fish seen but none caught

25lb salmon from the spring pool at 10 this morning on a flying c . and one lost on the fly, a good days fishing.

Had an enjoyable day at Gromain, but caught no fish. One fish was caught by a fellow angler in the Spring pool. Many thanks to the chaps who found and returned my box of flies. A small hatch of Dark Olives which resulted in a few trout rising

Apologies, there was an error in my on line booking such that this beat was booked inadvertently for April instead of June. I do hope that I didn't deprive someone else of the opportunity to fish due to my error. Kindest regards

Very lovely day. Water a bit high. I didn't see any sign of salmon activity, apart from these 2 trouts that went for my cascade fly. Lots of hatchings of various types.
