Two fish in 5hrs fishing. Overcast and chilly easterly. Small buzzer hatch late in the afternoon but no fish rising.

10C, a strong easterly and bright sunshine all day so not ideal conditions. 2 fine brownies from the top end bank later in the afternoon following a buzzer hatch. A glorious days fishing!

Just 2 two fish in five hours fishing. Varible breeze, overcast
and 8C. Both nice fish about 1lb and fought hard. Buzzer hatch in the afternoon which brought a few cruising fish to the surface but generally hard work but there again any day on Talybont is worth the effort.

Three descent browns on dry flies all taken in the morning, the sun came out at lunchtime so things slowed up a great deal from then on ..

Had a great day, conditions where good in the morning and overcast with a nice wind coming up the lake and not to bright. Fish responded on dries for a short time before sunshine Ruined it. Us anglers are never happy. Love the place :)

Bright conditions make the fishing challenging at times but we still managed around 10 lovely wild brown trout between us

Fished Talybont reservoir 10.00am to 1.30pm with LT. Buzzers hatching but very little fish activity. Way too calm and bright! Managed 3 each; nothing huge but typical healthy Talybont fish. Lost one on a long range release that looked a better fish.

My friend and I fished Talybont for the third time in 2 years and always enjoy its beauty and chance to catch brown trout. It was a wet and windy day so fishing was tough. I caught 2 nice trout and had 3 or 4 takes on a pheasant tail nymph with a hares ear thorax and a dawl back. I started on wet flies but no luck. There was a hatch of olives but little to nothing rising thus the change to the nymphs. My friend caught one small trout on a hopper. Lovely place to fish and will be back hopefully in nicer weather conditions.
