Weather very varied from rain and cold wind to sunny and calm later in the afternoon. Two larger grayling with the rest in the 6-10 inch bracket, the trout was about 11 inches.

All fish caught on a PTN.

Very good morning out, caught 2 nice size trout on dry flies.

Only had a couple of hours around midday , caught 2 small trout 4-5ins on PTN.

What a lovely little stretch, very scenic and beautiful. The water was a little high which made it tough but we still had a great day. 2 out of season Grayling, quickly released and 1 small trout (also released).

Would love to return in the summer

River fast and deep. Difficult wading. Will have to try this beat another day

First time at Eyton. River still high and turbid after recent rains but I wanted to visit before end of season. Managed one small grayling before an early finish.

A cloudy and very windy day, which made float fishing quite difficult.

Four of the grayling were of a good size, one of which weighed in at 1lb 140z, the other two were very small.

The out of season brownies, were all around a pound or less.

It's a very different river this season, not sure what's happened to all the grayling in the 8oz-1lb weight category that were present last year?
