Surprisingly clear but with improved flow. Loads of small chub and 12 decent fish to 5lb. Only managed 1 barbel between us.

1 Barbel, 12 Chub

From 5 degrees and thick fog to 17 and t-shirt in the afternoon. Started at the top orchard section. Only one accessible swim and a couple of small chub later moved down to the meadow section where things got better. Roved along the stretch taking fish from every swim tried.
Best barbel 9.2. Most chub between 1-2lb but a couple of 4 plussers too. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

4 Barbel, 20 Chub

One small barbel around 2 lb and one just a few ounces shy of 10lb. Lovely day!

One very nice chub and a smaller one. No barbel today.

River still quite low but with a tinge of colour,caught 3 barbel to 9lbs 12 chub to 5lbs plus 1 perch over a 1lb.also dace bleak and chublets whilst trotting maggots.

fish came out on poellet and meat, very slow but as always looking lovely.

lovely looking beat, but hard going today. fish came out on pellet and meat. some swims could do with a bit of maintenance.
