Good day, nice part of the river.

Fishing improved during the course of the day as the water level fined down a little. Nice chub on legered meats.

Difficult day as the river was very coloured. Caught chub at dusk.

River ok in morning although low and clear,however rose rapidly in the afternoon and quickly became un fishable .

Water level low but had 2 chub and a barbel. Note to the person who left discarded tins of san Pelegríno and Vimto in the long grass .. I have taken your rubbish home. That’s how beats get lost .. so don’t be a litter lout you dirty pig.

Access to the upstream section is limited to 3 paths and very difficult to walk the river path. The down stream section has only 4 fishable swims.
Both sections are not as advertised and need work doing.
