Baited the swim little and often for an hour with hemp and pellets then fished a small bag with a 14mm pellet on the hair. River very low and slow still but a very enjoyable evening

An afternoon on the woods. A chub early on, then a barbel of about 6lb towards dark.

Great day. River running at 0.6m and weather overcast. Had 2 barbel to 9lb and an Eel that took fishmeal boilies. Fished simple feeder tactics. Scenery is stunning. Lots of canoeing today but no problems and don’t think the fish are bothered so neither was I.

Fished the evening in the woods. River levels were low which was ideal. Only 1 barbel at 7.5lb. No other takes and fished till dark.

No sign of any barbel - fished 7am to 10.30am - all 3 chub around the 4lb mark
