Good day for chub but not the best for barbel which was surprising considering the ideal conditions. Alternated between 2-3 swims . Hoping the dusk period would bring on the barbel but the only one I had just came out in the middle of the afternoon. A good number of swims here with ropes down to a fair number of them which is encouraging . Chub up to 5lb and the barbel was just under 7lb all taken on meat not a touch on the boilies

1 pike and 1 chub caught . Pike about 6lb and a chub of about 3lb

All barbel came to feeder tactics, biggest was 9lb with a few 8’s and a couple of next gen barbel which was nice to see.

I would like to thank the farmer for his hard work in providing excellent access and a great choice of swims.
If the other waters were as well looked after the fishing would be improved as each swim would be less hammered.
