2 Barbel

A bit uncomfortable in bright sunlight. Beautiful stretch but not to be recommended for older anglers with mobility issues and definitely not if the banks are wet. Barbel on krill boilie and chub on marine halibut boilie.

Another hot and difficult day.
I had 6 barbel and 2 chub later on in the day.
One angler had 1 barbel and 1chub
Other angler had 1 chub.

River lowand slow and bites hard to come by. Banksides very slippery and dangerous too

Lovely spot , some nice Chub today but no Barbel unfortunately.

All fish were caught on 8mm fishmeal pellets either hair rigged or banded, the other were 3 dace.
Most of the fish were caught in the morning making the afternoon very hard going, the river was running around a foot higher than Sunday being the last day we had fished this stretch
